About the department

The Smart Infrastructure (SI) division connects energy systems, buildings, and industries to address the challenges of urbanization and climate change. Within this division, the Electrification & Automation unit delivers cutting-edge solutions in electrification and automation, helping customers drive transformation through innovation and digitalization.

You will join a professional and collaborative team consisting of a Head of Sales, four Sales Managers, a BID Manager and a student assistant, all united by integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to high-quality results.

About the position

As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in Siemens’ growth within the Danish energy and automation market. Your primary responsibility is to manage a focused portfolio of customers within critical infrastructure, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Managing customer relationships and representing Siemens as a trusted partner.
  • Delivering technical solution presentations and coordinating bids.
  • Negotiating contracts and tailoring communication across stakeholders.
  • Actively identifying new opportunities through a structured sales approach.
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and the BID Manager.

You will frequently visit customers across Denmark, with occasional travel to Siemens factories in Germany and Turkey.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within electrification or automation.
  • Experience with medium-voltage switchgear, automation, and critical infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Danish and English.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce).
  • Experience with digitalization is a big plus, as is being naturally solution-oriented in your technical sales.
