Packaging Artwork Specialist

Capax is assisting one of our clients in finding a freelance Packaging Artwork Specialist for a project focused on packaging layout and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate packaging layouts based on established guidelines and instructions.

You will work with Global Vision and Adobe InDesign and are expected to be familiar with GxP requirements related to packaging. Please note that no graphic design or creative input is needed – the position is focused on version control, layout accuracy, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust packaging layouts according to guidelines and instructions.

• Work with Global Vision and Adobe InDesign to prepare and review files.

• Perform language versioning and check PDF files for print readiness.

• Ensure all work meets GxP standards.

The role requires a structured and detail-oriented approach as well as the ability to follow processes and quality standards. Some on-site presence and flexibility is expected.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Global Vision and Adobe InDesign.

• Familiarity with GxP requirements in a packaging or artwork context.

• Experience with language versioning and proofreading of print-ready PDFs.

• No design background is required.

Project scope

The project is estimated to require approximately 800 hours, including paid onboarding and training provided by the client.
