Onsite IT Supporter

You will take part in hands-on support, as well as improving, developing, and maintaining the support process of the 1000+ PCs that are a part of the +50 laboratories across the Måløv site. The responsibilities include end-user and vendor communication, troubleshooting, identification of IT needs, support to patching,other system updates if needed and day-to-day support of the PCs. You will be working in close collaboration with your colleagues and different stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you possess proactiveness, are service-minded, and solution-oriented. You are a solution provider and good at handling all the different IT support tasks and service requests despite multiple users, deadlines, and priorities. You have good communication skills and can support stakeholders across all organizational levels. Furthermore, you are structured and like to follow common IT standards and procedures as well as also contribute to the creation of the same when this is needed, based on your knowledge about good documentation. Finally, you are a team player and like to share your knowledge.
Requirements to a Onsite IT Supporter
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with 1st level support.
Experience with stakeholder management.
Experience with working in the Windows environment.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident management tools.
Experience with network connectivity.
Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or similar in IT/Computer Science or another relevant discipline.
- Have experience with 2nd level support.
- Are familiar with working in a Linux environment.
- Have experience with scripting, in PowerShell or similar.
- Experience with Windows firewalls and networks.
