Capax is assisting one of our clients in finding a freelance HP-UX System Administrator for a project focused on managing and supporting mission-critical systems. The assignment is with an international company within transport and logistics, where you will be part of ensuring availability and stability in a large-scale IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain HP-UX servers and environments.
  
• Troubleshoot system incidents, performance issues, and implement fixes.
  
• Support migration, patching, and upgrade activities.
  
• Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with internal standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience with HP-UX system administration.
  
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, scripting, and system tools.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as a consultant and deliver reliable results.

Project scope

The project is scheduled to start in September and will run for several months. Some on-site presence may be required, with flexibility for remote work depending on project needs.
