Delivery Release Manager
Capax is assisting one of our clients in finding a freelance Delivery Release Manager to strengthen the software delivery processes on a complex data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing CI/CD releases across multiple teams, ensuring timely and stable software delivery.
You will coordinate across teams who each manage their own releases and ensure clear communication to all stakeholders, including platform users. Your technical understanding and structured mindset will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Drive and coordinate delivery processes across multiple development teams.
- Ensure CI/CD pipelines are reliable and well-managed.
- Communicate proactively with platform users and stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Maintain a high level of delivery discipline and continuously improve release governance.
Requirements
- Strong experience in CI/CD-driven software delivery environments.
- Excellent process management skills and ability to drive execution.
- Solid technical background, preferably within data platforms or large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
Preferred background
You thrive in fast-paced environments and may come from product-oriented companies such as Spotify, Netflix, Klarna, Amazon, Meta, Palantir, Tesla, Microsoft, or similar.
