Faerch is looking for a Test & Release Specialist to join the company’s global ERP Program Organization. In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring the successful rollout of Faerch’s global ERP transformation by establishing and driving the testing and release strategy for the implementation of Infor M3 Cloud Edition across manufacturing sites in Europe.

About the Department
You will become part of Faerch’s ERP Program Organization, which is responsible for rolling out and operating the company’s Corporate ERP platform across all manufacturing sites.
The team consists of highly experienced ERP specialists and Business Process Owners covering key business areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Sales. As the ERP organization continues to mature, the department is evolving into a scalable global program capable of managing multiple parallel ERP implementations across Europe.
You will work closely with Business Process Owners, Local Project Managers, manufacturing sites, IT, the ERP Solution Architect, and external implementation partners in a highly collaborative and transformation-driven environment.
About the Role
As Test & Release Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and driving the overall testing and release strategy supporting Faerch’s global ERP transformation.
The role goes far beyond coordinating testing activities. You will define the overall testing concept, governance framework, and quality standards that ensure a structured and consistent approach across all implementation phases. You will play a key role in planning and coordinating testing activities, establishing quality gates and acceptance criteria, supporting release management, and ensuring successful go-live execution across multiple rollout waves.
Working closely with Business Process Owners, Project Teams, the ERP Solution Architect, and external implementation partners, you will help build scalable testing methodologies and governance structures that support the long-term success of Faerch’s ERP Program.
The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and offers a unique opportunity to influence how testing and release management are executed across one of Faerch’s most important transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, framework, and governance model for the ERP Program
- Define entry and exit criteria, quality gates, and acceptance criteria across all test phases, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities throughout the ERP rollout lifecycle
- Design and manage test scenarios, test cases, and test execution processes
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) together with business stakeholders
- Ensure consistency, traceability, and governance across test tools and testing processes
- Support release planning and release management activities in close collaboration with the ERP Solution Architect
- Monitor testing progress, manage risks and defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, governance structures, and release processes across the ERP Program
Your Profile
We imagine that you:
- Have experience with test management in large ERP implementation or ERP rollout programs
- Have experience defining test strategies, governance models, quality gates, and release frameworks
- Have a strong understanding of structured testing methodologies and test lifecycle management
- Have experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborating closely with business stakeholders
- Have knowledge of test automation tools and modern testing practices
- Have strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Are able to create structure, drive execution, and ensure quality in complex transformation programs
- Communicate fluently in English
Experience from manufacturing or production environments is considered an advantage but is not a requirement.
