R&ED IT team
The Research & Early Development IT (R&ED IT) Lab Solutions team is an entirely new team within R&ED IT anchored in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT), the IT and Digitalisation area of the company. The department consists of 10 people that assist the research laboratories with their day2day IT challenges. R&ED IT is co-driving several IT projects in Research & Early Development (R&ED) and with an aspirational digital agenda, they wish to define new IT initiatives in a progressive working environment with high levels of activity and an agile way of working.
Senior IT Business Analyst
As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be an important part of a key agenda in the company: Digitalization and Automatization. By networking across the laboratories, you will find and share best practices on how to optimize their processes.
Together with your fellow business analysts in the team you will be a sparring partner for the laboratories and bridge them with Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) to find new solutions on how to automate and digitalize their processes.
As a Business Analyst, you will spend most of your time on-site and when it is needed: travel to one of the other research sites in the world to see, understand and solve their challenges. An important aspect of this position is close collaboration with the lab scientists and technicians and how you and the team can support that they focus more time on research and spend less on IT.
You will connect with stakeholders in R&ED through projects and stakeholder management to understand the increasing requirements for connectivity to and digitalization in GlobalLIMS. You will be working in close collaboration with their Indian organization as well as the Danish globalLIMS organization representing R&ED to ensure the prioritization of feasible backlog items.
Responsibilities as a Sr. IT Business Analyst
- Create clear and concise specifications of end-user needs to global developers.
- Build, prioritize, and maintain team backlog, based on change requests from users.
- Prepare your team for PI planning activities, drive the PI planning processes, and provide support in other agile events.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and other Product Owners in refining features and help the team in clarifying stories, defects, enablers, and also business priorities.
- Convert ideas into practical actions supporting the users on the journey towards a paperless process by driving the changes of new functionality in accordance with business processes.
- Take part in System Releases in an Agile Setup, ensuring new functionality is in line with line-of-business requirements including updates of relevant documentation such as requirements and user guides
Qualifications as a Sr. IT Business Analyst
- A degree at minimum BA level of science in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life-Science, or Pharmacy)
- You’ve held a similar role in a regulated industry within the IT domain.
- You have a proven track record with 2-5 years of experience within a Laboratory setup.
- You preferably have some agile knowledge or training.
- A natural interest in IT and IT savviness and the will to implement and drive IT solutions, as well as a desire to travel and expand your network and capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with people across the organization, ability to instill confidence and implement innovative solutions
