Document Drafter is looking for a QA Manager who will play a central role in ensuring the reliability and quality of the company’s document automation platform used by global clients.

In this role, you will take ownership of the overall QA strategy while working hands on with automated testing and quality processes across the platform.

About the role

As QA Manager, you will take responsibility for the company’s QA strategy and test automation framework.

The role combines hands on technical work with strategic responsibility. Approximately seventy percent of the role will focus on testing, automation, and quality processes, while the remaining part will focus on planning, process improvements, and development of the QA function.

You will work closely with a highly experienced development team and collaborate with management to strengthen testing processes and improve product quality.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will

• Own and drive the overall QA strategy and test automation framework
• Expand and improve the automated testing setup across the platform
• Increase test coverage including integration testing, UI testing and automated workflows
• Define and maintain quality gates for releases
• Provide release readiness assessments before production deployments
• Track QA metrics and identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Manage the defect lifecycle including classification, prioritization and verification
• Work closely with developers to improve testability and feedback loops
• Explore new automation approaches including AI supported testing

Your profile

You have strong experience working with software testing and quality assurance in a technical environment.

Ideally, you have

• At least five years of experience within software development or test automation
• Strong technical understanding of complex software systems
• Experience developing and scripting automated tests
• Experience working with QA processes and improving testing workflows
• The ability to communicate clearly with both developers and leadership

A formal technical education can be an advantage but is not required. Practical experience and a strong understanding of testing and development processes are considered more important.

Your personality

You are technically curious and motivated by improving software quality through automation and structured processes.

At the same time, you are able to take ownership of the QA lifecycle and create structure in complex technical environments. You enjoy working closely with developers while also contributing to strategic discussions about testing, automation, and product quality.
