About the department
Pharmacosmos’ Global IT department consists of approximately 15 dedicated professionals and is organized into four core areas: Helpdesk, Security, Application & Operations, and Strategic Initiatives.
The AI Lead role will operate across the organization and collaborate closely with:
- IT (architecture, security, platforms)
- Business units (e.g. R&D, Finance, production, commercial)
- External partners and consultants
The department is characterized by a high level of trust, strong collaboration, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving business challenges.
About the job
As AI Lead, you will take on a key role in driving the adoption and business impact of AI across Pharmacosmos.
This is not a traditional technical AI role. Instead, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring that AI moves from awareness to real value creation across the organization.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities, shape use cases, and drive the adoption of AI tools and solutions in daily operations.
You will:
- Act as the primary driver of AI adoption across business units
- Identify, qualify, and prioritize high-impact AI use cases
- Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to uncover opportunities
- Translate business needs into scalable AI solutions in collaboration with IT and external partners
- Drive change management and support the organization in adopting new ways of working
- Ensure initiatives move from idea → pilot → implementation → value realization
- Track adoption and business impact (e.g. efficiency gains, automation, productivity improvements)
- The role is currently an individual contributor position but offers the opportunity to shape and grow the AI agenda within the organization over time.

You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and have a natural ability to translate complex topics into practical solutions.
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- Experience working at the intersection of business and technology
- Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar
- Experience identifying and driving digital or AI use cases
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience from consulting, transformation, or similar roles is an advantage
- A pragmatic and value-driven mindset, focusing on outcomes rather than hype
You do not need to be a deep technical specialist, but you have a solid understanding of AI capabilities and are comfortable collaborating with technical experts.
