DSV is looking for a Manager for SAP Roles and Authorizations to join the Platform Services Department within Finance IT. In this role, you will combine people leadership with deep SAP expertise while driving the governance, security, and continuous development of DSV’s global SAP landscape.

About the department

As Manager for SAP Roles and Authorizations, you will become part of the extended leadership team within Finance IT Platform Services.

The department is responsible for governing SAP roles and authorizations across DSV’s global organization. Working in an environment shaped by continuous acquisitions, integrations, and digital transformation, the team focuses on governance, standardization, automation, security, and risk management.

As Manager for SAP Roles and Authorizations, you will lead an international team while acting as a trusted advisor on SAP security, role design, governance, and access management. You will help shape the strategic roadmap for SAP Roles and Authorizations while remaining close enough to the technical domain to challenge solutions, support your team, and contribute where your expertise adds value.

Success in this role requires someone who can build trust, create alignment across stakeholders, and confidently navigate a complex international environment while maintaining a strong focus on security, governance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

As Manager for SAP Roles and Authorizations, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, develop, and set the direction for a globally distributed team of SAP Roles and Authorizations specialists.
• Own SAP role design, maintenance, and user access management in accordance with segregation of duties and least privilege principles.
• Define, maintain, and implement SAP security standards and governance across countries and business units.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness through access monitoring, audit log management, and support for internal and external audits.
• Manage emergency access procedures and contribute to SAP security improvements, upgrades, and patch activities.
• Collaborate closely with Finance Transformation, Compliance, Internal IT, Global Process Owners, and external partners.
• Balance operational execution with long term strategic development of the SAP security landscape.
• Support prioritization, delegation, and follow up on operational activities to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
• Contribute hands on when your expertise creates value while empowering your team to succeed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

• Bring strong hands on expertise within SAP Roles and Authorizations, including experience with PFCG, segregation of duties, Fiori roles and catalogs, SU24, SU25, or similar technologies.
• Have solid experience working with SAP solutions and implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Are comfortable leading highly skilled specialists across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Can translate operational challenges into strategic improvements and long term governance.
• Communicate confidently with both technical specialists and senior business stakeholders.
• Thrive in large international organizations where collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement are essential.
• Take a structured and risk aware approach to security, compliance, and delivery.
• Have previous people management experience or are an experienced SAP specialist ready to step into a leadership role.
• Are fluent in English.
