Terma is looking for a Feature Architect within DevSecOps to take ownership of key platform capabilities and contribute to the development of the company’s Internal Developer Platform.
In this role, you will play a central part in bridging architectural direction and execution, working closely with engineers, IT, and delivery teams to shape scalable, secure, and sustainable DevSecOps solutions.

About the role
As Feature Architect, you will take architectural ownership of selected DevSecOps platform capabilities and ensure alignment between strategic direction and day-to-day execution.
You will work closely with platform engineers and stakeholders across the organization, translating business needs and technical constraints into scalable platform solutions.
The role combines architectural responsibility with a hands-on approach, where you may contribute to prototyping, validating solutions, and supporting critical initiatives when needed.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will
- Own and evolve the architecture of DevSecOps platform capabilities
- Define direction, ownership, and decision structures across the platform
- Collaborate with delivery teams to translate needs into platform improvements
- Work closely with operations to ensure scalable and reliable infrastructure
- Contribute to platform roadmaps and long-term architectural direction
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term sustainability and compliance
- Support and guide engineers through architectural decisions
- Contribute hands-on when needed to prototype or stabilize solutions
Your profile
You have a strong technical background and experience working with software or platform architecture in complex environments.
Ideally, you have
- A relevant technical education within software engineering, IT, or similar
- Solid experience with platform or software architecture
- Strong understanding of cloud-native principles and DevSecOps practices
- Experience working in on-premise or regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools and platforms
- The ability to make and communicate architectural decisions
- Professional proficiency in English
Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Ansible, Nexus or SonarQube is considered an advantage.
